Day by day
Every working day on the project, from the first meeting to today. 144 changes across 20 working days.
Proposal page built and deployed with a comment thread so Arun could review it inline. Market research and handover notes written up. A short brief prepared for the first meeting.
Partnership and pricing page built, then repositioned around what the business actually is: a pan-India supplements push standing on the existing diet-plan client base.
Internal playbook written. The plan was deliberately reframed to website first: build the thing that converts, then spend on campaigns. Spending before the site converts wastes the budget.
The Shopify store was rebuilt from a stock theme into a real brand. New hero, product photography pipeline, the formulary shop layout, and clickable FSSAI proof that anyone can verify. Accessibility and speed were taken to the platform ceiling, and the generic template tells were stripped out. Forty two separate changes in one day.
Fixed the hero breaking into one word per line on wide screens, an invisible dark-on-dark footer, and an unstyled link on the founder block.
Introduced proper versioning so every deploy is tagged and reversible. Cleared the launch blockers, published the first refund, shipping and terms pages, polished the product page, and cut a launch candidate.
Homepage and product page rebuilt to the new clinical modern direction. Cart gained address saving and live PIN-code deliverability. Collection page, richer footer and FAQ structured data added.
Subscribe and save built. A customer dashboard so buyers can see their own progress. An internal ops dashboard on Vercel reading live Shopify data. Every product got its own real content instead of shared copy. Search and a recovery 404 added, since the store had no search at all.
Navigation rebuilt. Customer login and a guest order tracker. Research-backed benefit claims with their disclaimers. Bundles and concern-first positioning.
Product image zoom, clearer value framing on the 90-day pack, and homepage A/B testing that automatically shifts traffic toward whichever version performs better.
Four concern landing pages for ads, plus FAQ and Ingredients. The visual direction moved away from the Ayurvedic look toward something modern, scroll animations added, rotating product banners on the first fold, the ecosystem story and Our Story page, and Instagram connected.
New hero headline and subheading from Arun, and his real refund, delivery and damaged-parcel policies published.
Hero and banner redesigned again to remove the last of the Ayurvedic feel, with a new generated background image.
Source tracking added so every order records where it came from. Retention automation and lead capture built. The free diet plan offer removed across the whole site.
The diet plan became nutritionist-designed value included with the order, rather than a giveaway.
New search title and description, all remaining Ayurvedic wording removed, and paste-in slots built for Meta Pixel, Google Analytics, Google Ads and Search Console.
Found and fixed an invisible layer that was making the entire site unclickable. Also discovered that earlier deploys had silently skipped 27 files, including the ad tracking code, which had never actually gone live. The site was then repositioned around the accountability system, and a mobile header bug that pushed the cart and menu off the screen was fixed. Terms of service and contact information were published.
Five customer personas walked the site end to end. Their findings were fixed: Cash on Delivery had been silently blocked on the expensive bundles, the guarantee link went nowhere, the contact page could not be reached, and GST was never mentioned at the point of payment.
Weight loss added and the consultation page built for the sales team. Two real customer video stories put live. A full mobile pass with visual checks at real phone size. The 90-day guarantee documented properly. The WhatsApp number, wrong in 27 places, corrected. Eighteen ad creatives finished, and this build log.
The site was reading heavy and machine-made, so two things changed. The deep green was lightened across every section and the hero stopped burying its own photograph, which let light back into the page. Headings moved onto a proper display typeface instead of the same thin sans used for body text, and the glass badge above the headline was replaced with a plain rule and label. Separately, four reviewers measured every page at phone and desktop size. That found a hidden sideways scroll on phones, a popup sitting on top of the Add to cart button, a menu whose last items could not be reached on smaller phones, headings squeezed into a third of the space they had, and twenty three other spacing faults. All fixed. Tapping the bag when it is empty now opens the bag with a Shop button, instead of quietly scrolling you elsewhere.
Checkout, the thank-you page and the sign-in page were running on Shopify's plain defaults: no logo, blue buttons, white everywhere. All three now carry the logo, the brand green and the cream background, and every customer email (order confirmation, shipping updates) carries the logo and green buttons too. A one-rupee end-to-end test found a real bug: the subscription discount could push a tiny order below the payment gateway's one-rupee minimum, which failed with a generic error. Root-caused, understood, and impossible on real prices. A ten-rupee live order then went through cleanly: payment, thank-you page, notifications on two phones. The help popup switched from asking for email to asking for a WhatsApp number, with a binding one-conversation, no-lists promise, so the team can actually reach people. Meta Events Manager confirmed the full tracking funnel live with purchases recorded, testimonial consents came in, and pack weights were confirmed. One item left before ads: verifying the sender email address.
Seven leading supplement brands were torn down section by section (OZiva, Wellbeing Nutrition, Traya, The Whole Truth, Man Matters, What's Up Wellness and AG1) and the homepage was rebuilt on what actually repeats across them. It now opens light with the product photograph and one clear promise, runs a ticker of verifiable facts, lets people start from the thing they want to fix, and shows all four formulas as proper product cards with per-day pricing and instant add to cart. The system gets numbered steps, there is a plain section on who should not buy, ingredients appear as macro food photography, and a table prices what assembling the same system yourself would cost. Nine new photographs were produced for it. Two build bugs were caught on live screenshots and fixed within minutes.
The eight ad landing pages were rebuilt to the anatomy the winning Indian brands actually use: a narrow phone-first column, edge-to-edge product photo, dense price card with per-day chip, proof grid, dark numbered how-it-works, ingredient rows, an us-versus-typical comparison table and a buy bar that never leaves the screen. A real consented member story sits on the stress page, verbatim. The homepage system and honesty sections got the same denser treatment and the duplicate ticker band was removed. All eighteen raw testimonial recordings now live at /pages/testimonials exactly as recorded, poster-first so the page stays fast, one playing at a time; the one video featuring a minor stays off the site deliberately. Five test agents then went through every page on desktop and phone: the full buy path to checkout, the subscription flow with its discount applying, the weight loss call-back form, every video URL. Four small copy and tracking faults they caught were fixed the same hour.
The team can now pick which homepage everyone sees from theme settings: the A/B test, the classic dark one, or the new rebuild; forced choices stay out of the test's data. A second agent sweep went bug hunting and came back useful: on the new homepage three navigation links and the Subscribe button scrolled nowhere because their targets lived in the hidden variant, fixed with a router that finds the visible section on either version. The pincode checker can no longer hang on a bad connection. The checkout no longer pre-ticks the marketing consent box, the terms of service had four literal LINK placeholders where policy references should be, now filled in, and the sales toast only shows orders from the last three days so the store never advertises its own quiet spell. The subscription choice now explains itself in the cart, the product page opens with a link to the real stories instead of an apology about reviews, and phones get a persistent buy bar on product pages.
Akash delivered the official product photography: thirty-seven images across the four formulas, with front and back bottle shots, nutrition label close-ups, benefit and comparison graphics, ingredient art and lifestyle frames. All four product galleries were rebuilt with them in a deliberate order: pack shot first, then benefits, the nutrition label, and the rest. Every product page now shows the real bottle a customer will receive.
Where things stand
- LiveThe store sells. Cash on Delivery and online payment both work, shipping is free across India, all six products are active, and the checkout has been tested end to end.
- LiveEvery sale can be traced. The site records where each visitor came from and writes it onto the order, so once ads run you will know which ad produced which sale.
- PendingAd tracking is not switched on yet. Meta Pixel and Google Analytics need access to your Meta and Google accounts. The site is ready, it is a paste-in job once we have access. Until then we recommend not spending on ads, because nothing would be measurable.
The website
Positioning and copy
- LiveThe whole site now leads with "India's first supplements with accountability system". Every section explains the same idea: the capsules are the easy part, the system is what makes people finish.
- LiveAll Ayurvedic wording removed, per Arun. The brand reads modern and science-led throughout, including the Google search title.
- LiveNothing is given away free any more. The diet plan is presented as designed by our nutritionist and included, never as a freebie. Free shipping and Cash on Delivery stay, because those are real.
- LiveWeight loss is now mentioned on the homepage and leads the consultation page, as Arun asked.
Pages built
- LiveHomepage, four product pages, The Full Set and the 90-Day Transformation.
- LiveFour concern landing pages for ads: sleep, energy, skin and omega. Each speaks to one problem and sells one product.
- LiveOur Story, FAQ, Ingredients, Track your order, and a customer account area.
- LiveFree consultation page with a form that captures name, phone, email and goal, emails the team, and alerts us instantly. Built for the three person sales team to work as leads.
Trust and proof
- LiveTwo real customer video stories now play on the homepage and Our Story. Compressed so they load fast on Indian mobile data, and nothing plays until the visitor taps.
- LiveFSSAI licence shown with a working verification link, full doses printed, 100% vegetarian, Made in India, and delivery in 2 to 7 days taken from the real shipping policy.
- LiveNo invented reviews, ratings, customer counts or results anywhere on the site. Where we had no proof, we said so instead of faking it.
- LiveA 2% discount for customers who create an account, using a real working code.
Legal and compliance
- LiveAll five policies published and reachable: refund, shipping, privacy, terms of service and contact information. The last two were missing, and Shopify flags contact information as required.
- LiveReal registered business details on the contact page, with support hours. No template placeholders left anywhere.
- LiveThe 90-day guarantee terms are now written out in the FAQ: the conditions, how to claim, the 14 day window, and how the refund is paid. Previously the site promised a refund that no page explained.
- LiveProduct claims carry their asterisk and the food supplement disclaimer, which is what keeps the ads approvable.
Tracking, automation and operations
- LiveSource tracking on every order. The site captures where a visitor first came from and attaches it to the order, so ad performance is measurable per campaign.
- LiveInstant order alerts to the phone the moment an order comes in, with the amount, items, city and the source that produced it.
- LiveDaily sales pulse every evening: today and month to date revenue, orders, average order value, and pace against target.
- LiveWeekly reorder and win-back check. These are monthly products, so it flags customers who are due a refill and those going quiet.
- LiveLead capture on site, with the team alerted on each new lead.
- PendingAbandoned cart, welcome and post purchase follow ups are written and ready. They need one messaging channel switched on, either Shopify Email or an official WhatsApp provider.
Marketing and ads
- Ready18 ad creatives built with the real product photography. A brand set and a direct response set in Hinglish and English, modelled on what is actually working in the Meta ad library for Indian supplement brands.
- ReadyA full launch plan: the funnel maths, campaign structure, ten ad angles with hooks, audience targeting and a 30 day calendar.
- PendingMeta and Google account access, and the ad budget, before anything can go live.
Problems we found and fixed
- FixedThe site was unclickable. An invisible full screen layer was sitting over every page and swallowing all taps. Found, fixed, and verified.
- FixedCash on Delivery was silently blocked on the expensive orders. A leftover rule refused COD above two thousand rupees, which meant The Full Set and the 90-Day Transformation could not be ordered that way, while every page promised COD across India.
- FixedThe WhatsApp number was wrong everywhere. Every "message us" link pointed at a number with two digits swapped. Once ads started, every WhatsApp lead would have gone nowhere. Corrected in 27 places.
- FixedThe mobile header did not fit. The cart icon and menu button were pushed off the edge of the screen on every phone, and the whole site scrolled sideways.
- FixedAn error message was printing on every page in plain text, and the code that tracks ad performance had never actually uploaded.
- FixedEmpty star ratings next to the price, which read as a zero out of five to anyone scanning the page.
Testing
- DoneFive customer personas walked the site end to end: a sceptical first time buyer, a label reader, someone comparing bundles, a repeat quitter, and a nervous buyer worried about support. Everything they hit has been fixed or documented.
- DoneFull production audit across broken links, every button, legal cover, placeholder text and page speed.
- DoneMobile checked visually at real iPhone size on every key page, before and after each change, not assumed.
- DonePurchase flow tested for real: add to cart, cart, and checkout with both payment methods.
What we need from your side
- NeededMeta access. Admin on the Business account and ad account, plus the Facebook page, so we can install tracking and run the supplement ads. A card on the ad account for spend.
- NeededGoogle access. Google Ads and Merchant Center. Supplements are a reviewed category on Google, so approval takes a few days.
- NeededAd budget for the first month, so we can size the plan honestly.
- NeededArun to confirm the 90-day guarantee so it can go into the refund policy.
- NeededDelivery partner and payment gateway confirmation, so delivery timelines and COD are settled before ads.
- NeededMore customer stories, and short phone videos from Arun. These lift conversion more than anything else we can build.
Everything published here is real: no invented reviews, statistics or customer numbers appear on the website.
